The annual ARECA Educational Foundation Auction is one of the highlights of the APA Annual Meeting, and it’s happening this year on August 24 at the Valdez Civic and Convention Center in stunning Valdez. But first, we need your cool stuff.
From arts and crafts, to travel packages, to outdoor equipment and more, your donated items help raise money for APA’s scholarship programs through the fun and interactive auction.
The auction proceeds go toward benefiting the APA Hank Nikkels Scholarship for Engineers and the David P. Hutchens Scholarship. Both programs aim to train and foster the next generation of electric utility workers.
Past auction items have included Native Alaskan art, photography, gift certificates, wine, paintings, etc. The auction is a fun and energetic way to support APA’s scholarship programs.
