Chad Johnson is the Manager of Safety, Training and Compliance at Ozarks Electric Cooperative in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Chad has been with Ozarks for 28 years, with 25 years of powerline construction and maintenance experience including distribution, transmission and substation. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Organizational Leadership, and holds an Associate’s Degree in High Voltage Technology.
Bud Branham is currently the Director of Safety for NRECA. He has been with NRECA 15 years, and currently helps guide the National Safety Program (RESAP). His work in the electrical industry, as well as safety management spans more than 35 years.
Cade Standifer (CLCP) is the Director of Safety and Loss Prevention for the New Mexico Rural Electric Cooperatives Association. Cade worked as a Lineman and Foreman for 23 years at Roosevelt County Electric Cooperative, with experience in Transmission, Distribution, and Substation construction, maintenance and service restoration. Cade has led the New Mexico safety statewide association in safety and loss control for four years.
Brian Gould has been in the safety and health field for over twenty years working in the petroleum, mining, nuclear, consulting services, and now most recently as an Assistant Professor of Occupational Safety and Health at the University of Alaska Anchorage – Community and Technical College. Brian also serves as the advisor to the Alaska Chapter of the ASSP, Student Section. His professional certifications include: CSP-Certified Safety Professional, ABIH-Certified Industrial Hygienist, CCPS-Certified Process Safety Professional, IHMM-Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, and SHRM-Certified Professional.
